Mom faces unfair charges

According to sources, Raquel Nelson appeared on the Today's Show on July 25 and shared her story with the world.

Nelson was returning home with her three children and she jaywalked after getting off the bus. Her 4 year old son was struck by a van and killed. The driver of the van was sentenced to 6 months, but she faces the possibility of 3 years in prison. She was convicted of 2nd degree vehicular homicide. She said it was getting dark and she was taking a shortcut in an effort to get her children home. She also said  that no member of the jury had ever ridden a bus.

Now this is great proof to show that the government and its laws are screwed.

Chris Brown tweeted on July 23 a picture of him on his girlfriend, Karreuche Tran. Apparently the couple have been dating for more than six months.

They have a very adorable way of expressing their romance and love for her each other through cute tweets and twitpics of each other such as this:

Also, a tour is in the future for Chris Brown. He tweeted:

"Me and Kelly Rowland, along with other incredible artist are going on tour!!!! I'll let u know who else is on later! Lol"

He also said that he will make this tour affordable so that all fans can come out, and he is in the makings of recording his 5th album "FORTUNE!"

Chris Brown Just Can't Get a Break!

If it's not Chris Brown allegedly accused of using gay slurs, then it's him being a nuissance.

Chris Brown says he's been SET UP -- claiming one of his neighbors scratched the initials "C.B." into an elevator at his Hollywood condo building in an effort to make the singer look like a "reckless" punk. Brown's neighbors have been complaining to the building manager about vandalism, parking violations, and noise.

"The bs. My neighbor carves my name in our elevator to incriminate me so it looks like I'm a reckless 22 your old."

"My parking spaces in my building that were assigned to me when I bout this crib are painted over with handicap and no Parking signs"

Brown claims that he is a victim and how he is too busy to even be at home on a daily basis.

Ever since the February 2009 domestic dispute with then-girlfriend Rihanna, Brown's image has been distorted by the media. This is one of those situations where Chris just has to rise above it all and fulfill his purpose and maintain a coolhead while doing so.

On a more positive note, Brown's album "F.A.M.E" has been the number 1 album on the Billboard 200 this week. Great Job Chris!

Also, Brown will be relasing his fourth mixtape "Boy in Detention" on Agust 5th.

Kreayshawn is a big deal now!

Most of you might be wondering, "who is Kreayshawn, and why is she such a big deal?"

Not only is Kreayshawn nominated as "Best New Artist" for the 2011 Video Music Awards, but she is also working on the new Red Hot Chilli Peppers upcoming video.

"I wanted to keep it 90s-era based, like an underground feel to it. [The song] really has that sound that just takes you back. It's cool because they got to take a break, and I feel like it's important for any artist to take a break and regroup. And for them to come out and still have the same type of vibe and same type of sound, I really like that. They were really chill and cool to work with, because they've done this a million times before. Anthony [Kiedis] is still as hot as ever, Flea is still crazy as ever. It was definitely exciting."

Nia Long Glowing!

As many of you might have seen on the 2011 BET Awards, actress Nia Long is about to become a mother...again!

Questions were surfacing around about the luck father is. Nia Long and, NBA Spurs player, Ime Udoka have been dating a little over a year. The couple released a statement to People Magazine announcing the big news:

"This is the most exciting time in our lives. Words can’t explain how thrilled we are by the new addition to our family. We feel truly blessed and appreciate all the well wishes and prayers.”

Drake and Rihanna got pretty damn close at a nightclub in Canada a few weeks ago ... snuggling up at a private booth -- but does the pic back up the rumor that they're really more than friends?

The photo was shot at the Buonanotte Supperclub in Montreal on June 12 right around midnight.

One source inside the club tells us the two were "all over each other" the entire evening ... and were even seen making out.

Chris Brown's New Movie

The artist and occasional movie actor is slated to appear in this new comedy directed by Barbershop's Tim Story and based around Steve Harvey's latest book, Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man. The premise of the movie is relatively straightforward: four sexy ladies (possibly Bad Boys II's Gabrielle Union and Stomp The Yard's Meagan Good, who are on the cast) pick up a copy of, you guessed it, Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man and start changing up their relationships based on what it says. Their good-looking boyfriends (presumably Brown alongside perhaps BET host Terrance J and 40 Year Old Virgin's Romany Malco, who are also onboard) don't like what's going on and decide to get things back to normal. How do they do this? Well, by using advice they get from a book, of course.

Can't wait to see it!

I also noticed that Chris has new ink to his body, which is located on his neck.

Hmm , I wonder what it is..Hopefully I can find some new pictures.

New York Makes a Change!

On June 24, 2011, Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed a New York bill that legalized same-sex marriage and was passed by state lawmakers.

New York is the sixth state, and biggest, where same-sex marriages are legalized.

Rihanna Helps Out Alabama

Rihanna is scheduled to perform at the Birmingham Jefferson Conventional Center tonight at 7 p.m. for a great cause. She added an additional appearance for her LOUD tour.

The proceeds from this tour will be donated to local community relief charities for the April 27, 2011 Alabama tornado victims.

Three charities will receive donations from the show, Project Team Up, Tuscaloosa Disaster Relief Fund, and the Mayor's Disaster Relief Fund.

"Hearing about the hundreds of lives that have been lost and the communities that have been so devastated by this disaster.... I wanted to figure out a way to help." Says Rihanna "I'm hoping that bringing the LOUD tour through Alabama can provide a moment of relief and raise a lot of money for the charities we are working with."
